The Dancer was printed in 1982, originally framed by Martin Lawrence Editions.  As described by the Martin Lawrence documentation all framing materials are acid free and 100% rag.  Moulding is 2" white formica with some minor scratches.

Peter Max, born in Germany, grew up in Shanghai, came of age as an artist in the 60's.  He was educated at the Art Students League in Manhattan.  On the way to becoming one of America's Pop Culture leading artists his major influence was comic books.  Today, as over the last 40 years, he is collected for his bold colors and iconic images.
