APRIL 16th - DONNA SLADE

Award-winning and published artist Donna Slade has created a series of original colored-pencil paintings for this traveling exhibition, which depicts a very personal and revealing representation of current circumstances facing the Afro-Colombian and indigenous people of Colombia, South America. This traveling exhibit tells the stories of these citizen's hardships while highlighting the strength and dignity of Colombian activists and community leaders as they work for social justice.

MAY 14th - CORA OGDEN

Cora elaborates on a single moment in time, embracing quiet picturesque views that tempt the viewer to sit and stay awhile. Her dramatic and purposeful use of light and color guides the viewer to experience new details with each and every gaze. Her meticulous technique and eye for detail creates a depth so lifelike, that you feel you could walk right into her paintings.

JUNE 18th - DEB COVINGTON

Whether painting a landscape, a still life, or a portrait, Deb approaches each painting by studying shapes, contrasts, composition and color. She prefers pastels and oils on a sanded paper, feeling these methods will enhance the work. She is attracted to repeated patterns, movement and natural light, using these elements to create a rhythm and bring freshness to each painting that becomes personal and expressive.
